The bricks-and-mortar resurgence continues through the summer, with Pets at Home, Tapestry and Chanel all increasing investment and opening new premises. 

The technology theme continues too, with Asda launching a dedicated retail media unit and L’Oreal investing in an AI business to increase its ability to perform beauty diagnostics, amongst other innovations.  

Other highlights include Shein’s efforts to woo household brands and Heineken’s expanding pub empire. Cheers!
