Discovery of your wired network topology and associated device configurations.

Identification of risks with clear recommendations around configuration updates, support status, operational performance, and identification of single point of failures.

Requirements
SNMP Access
Valid read-only SNMP access enabled.
Discovery Assets
A list of devices or IP ranges to be discovered. CDW can offer additional bespoke physical audit services if you are unsure of the makeup of your estate.
Monitoring Software
Monitoring software is sometimes installed to capture usage and health statistics where existing services are not available. A virtual appliance is sometimes deployed depending on volume of devices to be discovered.
Management Consoles
Read-only access to the device CLI and any other management consoles for lower level script-based discovery.
The report* includes switch hardware and firmware and associated vendor support status; device serial numbers; routing and redundancy configuration; device overview port and spanning tree level configurations; network topology; highlighting any concerns and providing remedial recommendations. *Report content varies dependent upon service purchased
