Launching Our Partnership to Support the Next Generation

Charity 29 June, 2023

We are thrilled to share the incredible success of our inaugural event, which marked the beginning of our patronage with The Prince's Trust. The evening was nothing short of remarkable, filled with excitement, inspiration, and a collective dedication to empowering young individuals from challenging backgrounds. Together, we celebrated the remarkable work of The Prince's Trust in equipping 11 to 30-year-olds with essential life skills, preparing them for the workforce, and unlocking invaluable job opportunities.

The atmosphere at the Nomad Hotel on Wednesday, 28th of June, was electric, as passionate individuals gathered to support this leading national youth charity. Engaging discussions and heartfelt stories served as a powerful reminder of the profound impact that collective action can have on transforming lives. One particular phrase echoed throughout the event, resonating deeply with our speakers, especially those from The Prince's Trust: "Talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not." This message encapsulates the essence of our shared mission to close the opportunity gap and create a more equitable society.

Among the remarkable speeches, Serenity Mason delivered an impassioned talk that left a lasting impact on all attendees. She courageously shared her personal journey, emphasising how The Prince's Trust played a vital role in her life. Serenity recounted overcoming immense challenges, at the age of 16. She highlighted the critical support and opportunities provided by The Prince's Trust. Serenity also spoke about how she built her own business and gained the confidence to pursue her dreams. Her story truly exemplifies the transformative power of The Prince's Trust and the positive influence it has on the lives of young individuals.

We are immensely grateful to our esteemed speakers, including Penny Williams, VP of Sales at CDW UK & International, Frances Milner, Director of Fundraising and Marketing at The Prince's Trust, Charles Eales, UK Philanthropies Lead at Microsoft, and Charlotte West, Executive Director of Global Corporate Communications at Lenovo. Their shared purpose, passions, and plans have set us on an incredible journey to make a tangible difference in the lives of young individuals.

Moreover, we extend our appreciation to Lenovo and Microsoft for their support in our social impact efforts. Their partnership and shared values have been instrumental in driving our collective mission forward. We also want to express our gratitude to everyone who attended the event and contributed to its resounding success. Your presence and support mean the world to us and to the young people whose lives will be positively affected by our partnership with The Prince's Trust.

In addition, we are delighted to share that the JustGiving page for the event has surpassed expectations, raising 101% of our target. This achievement reflects the generosity and commitment of our supporters, demonstrating their dedication to creating a brighter future for young individuals.

Together, we are fostering a brighter future and empowering a generation to thrive. The success of our inaugural event sets the stage for a transformative partnership with The Prince's Trust, where we will continue to work tirelessly to close the opportunity gap and unlock the potential of young individuals. We are truly humbled by the impact we can create when we come together.
