Global Industry Director and Retail COE lead at Intel Corporation 

David has been working in the Retail, Hospitality & Consumer Goods (RH&CG) industries for over 30 years, helping some of the largest global organisations with their Digital Transformation. In his current role, David leads a team of industry experts, which drive Intel’s sales strategy and supports ecosystem development in these key industries.  

Previously, David worked for 12 years at Microsoft and for 15+ years in other hardware and software businesses, selling a wide range of solutions to large Retail & Hospitality companies around the world.

Retail Consultant & Public Speaker 

Ian is an independent consultant with 23 years’ experience within the retail sector.  

He works at a strategic level with brands and retailers around the world, providing insights, assisting with store development and offering a consumer-centric perspective. Ian introduced the concept of Symbiotic Retail; highlighting how all channels need to work together as one ecosystem for the shopper’s benefit..  

He’s also a keynote speaker, panel moderator and presenter, speaking at events including NRF, Marketing Week Live and others, and has previously gave a TEDx talk: ‘Is The Physical Store Dead?’ in January 2024.
