CDW UK Awarded Silver in Defence Employer Recognition Scheme

London, 16 June 2025 — CDW UK is proud to announce it has been awarded the prestigious Silver Award as part of the UK Ministry of Defence’s Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS), recognising our continued commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community.

This accreditation reflects CDW’s proactive efforts to go beyond the pledges when signing the Armed Forces Covenant in September 2024, embedding policies and practices that support veterans, reservists, and military families across the organisation.

Since signing the Armed Forces Covenant, CDW has implemented a range of initiatives to support the Armed Forces community, including:

• Hosted cadet tours and career talks at our Logistics Technology Centre
• Supporting and fundraising for veteran charities
• Providing five days of additional leave for reservist training and mobilisation
• Prioritised veteran recruitment and retention
• Partnered with Help for Heroes
• Grown our internal Armed Forces Network

The ERS Silver Award is granted to employers who demonstrate exceptional advocacy for Defence personnel and embed supportive HR policies that reflect the values of the Armed Forces Covenant.
