CDW has been recognised as a leading employer for women by both Forbes and Fairygodboss. Forbes named the company to its recent World’s Top Female-Friendly Companies list while Fairygodboss highlighted CDW as part of its annual Best Companies for Women list.
“At CDW, we know that we need to have a diverse and inclusive culture in order to serve the diverse needs of our customers,” said Carolyn Wiesenhahn, the company’s Chief People Officer. “We’re proud to have nearly 50 percent of our executive committee comprised of women leaders. And we’re dedicated to providing all women within our organization with the resources, connections and enablement they need to succeed while also driving company business objectives.”
Forbes worked with market research company Statista to survey 85,000 women in 36 countries. Survey results were utilised to identify the companies leading the way when it comes to supporting women inside and outside of their workforces.
Fairygodboss based its ranking on reviews posted to the organisation’s website. Employees were asked to answer questions regarding their overall job satisfaction, perceived gender equality at work, and recommendations to other women about working at their employer.
