Penny Williams Announced as Vice Chair of TechUK's PSB

We are thrilled to share that CDW UK’s Penny Williams has been announced as Vice Chair of TechUK’s Public Services Board.

As techUK’s leadership body for our public sector work, the Public Service Board creates the environment and the opportunity for the UK tech industry to collaborate across the whole of the UK Government to enable the delivery of world class, affordable public services for the benefit of all.

Under the leadership of Chair Chris Price (Director of Public Sector & Strategic Partners at Computacenter) and Penny Williams (Director of Public Sector at CDW), the PSB aims to: Improve the engagement between Government and the tech industry; Provide leadership on critical policy issues related to public services transformation; and lead the debate on better use of disruptive technology to drive efficiencies in Government and transform our public services.

Penny is a public sector specialist, with over 25 years of experience in managing teams across the UK. Designing and executing CDW UK's unique approach to public sector services and solutions, Penny finds innovative ways to help organisations do more with less. She has been instrumental in introducing public sector-specific cloud solutions to CDW UK's portfolio. 

Taking a dynamic approach to technology that thrives in the private sector, she ensures it can be deployed securely, affordably and effectively in the public sphere.
